Jase in His Front Carrier

for the 1st Time!

Jase was so small in this that his feet didn't even go through the leg holes lol. It was so cute but he can definitely grow a little more; I had to hold his head the whole time because his neck couldn't quite support it yet. So the whole "carrier" was kinda pointless if I had to hold him anyway lol. It's the thought that counts right? :) Jase is just a little guy :) I still had fun putting him in it! Don't worry Buddy, you'll fit into it soon!!!

Jase is 3 Weeks Old!

Aw my little man is getting bigger and cuter each day. On December 17, 2010, Jase finally wears big boy diapers!!! lol. Yup Jasers (like the nickname lol I'm definitely a dork) doesn't wear newborn diapers anymore; CRAZY! He still fits into his newborn clothes which I'm really surprised; at least he actually gets to wear out his clothes :)

See, Jase even has his own guard dog lol. I think it's so cute how motherly my parents' dogs (Kahauni, Kamo and Maui) have become since me and Jase have stayed there. This is my puppy Maui Mae; aren't they just cute! I love how precious Jase looks while he takes his naps. :)

Tummy Time for Jase! :) This only lasts for a couple minutes before he starts becoming frustrated like you can kinda see in the picture. Silly boy has the worst patience in the world -he might be tied with his father lol JUST KIDDING :) Once Jase starts realizing he can't move his head or neck quite yet, he becomes upset and demands tummy time to be over lol. What a cutie! I sure love you like crazy Jase!

Jase's 1st Santa Pictures!!!

My silly son was definitely messing with me today; when we were riding in the car to the small where Santa was, Jase was crying and freaking out. I was worried that he would he would freak out while taking the picture so I stayed in the car in the mall parking lot trying to comfort him; NOTHING worked! So I finally gave up and heading into the mall. The first second we walked through the doors, Jase became quiet and before I knew it when I stood in line, he was completely zonked out lol. I didn't want to wake him so we took the pictures with him asleep. He still looks extremely cute and they turned out amazing!

Look at Jase's face!!! He's glaring at his momma again lol. Aparently I was taking away the attention from him lol; what a silly boy. Don't we look cute with Santa! It was quite cute watching Santa hold Jase; he was so small that I think he didn't know what to do with him. Jase was probably the smallest (or one of the smallest) child that came to sit on his lap. Jase didn't get to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas but next year he definitely will! He'll probably be a Christmas-crazy boy just like his Daddy :)

no TWO WEEKS OLD!!!

Here's Jasey Boy at almost 2 weeks old! Time is flying by so fast!!! I can't believe it has already been almost two weeks since he was born. This is good because it'll help Mike's deployment go by faster where Mike will be home before I know it but it's also heartbreaking because eventually Jase won't be my little cuddle buddy anymore. Might as well enjoy every second I have with him! :) This is the picture I used for his birth announcement; Isn't he adorable?!!! I love it! He's still in his newborn diapers; see how long that lasts :) Love ya Buddy!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!! Jase tends to like to glare at his momma A LOT lol. I guess he didn't want to go in his car sear lol. Silly Little Man! :) But I love him and that's all that counts right? I love how his binkie takes up pretty much his whole face; no it's not that big but Jase is still definitely small. I'm definitely not going to complain cause I love my lil cuddle buddy!

Jase is playing peek-a-boo with me, how cute! :) I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to do that but I still think it's adorable. Like the huge mittens? :) Jase has the biggest habit of scratching his face and even know his nails are short from me just cutting them, he manages to still tear up his face. Poor lil man; it doesn't help when the mittens come off as soon as I put them on lol.

For his first time, Jase did pretty good; definitely a lot better than I expected. I'm so proud of him! :) He was a little fussy but not bad at all- it was just so new to him that he didn't know what to expect. In the video I look like such a dork cause I didn't know what to do lol. I even forgot to take the paper seal off his shampoo and realized this once I had both hands full :). No judging lol, I'm a new momma! Jase will definitely have to learn to have patience with me :).

Jase and his momma right before his bath; what a cutie! I mean Jase of course. :) Like my crazy staticy hair? lol. We definitely have a crazy family but I love it; I couldn't have got any better of a family to spend forever with!

Jase after his bath! We did it!!! :) I later learned after the next couple baths that the Little Man definitely took a lot after his father :) where he has to get it done his way or it's no way lol. This is so because when I filled the sink, I made sure the water was luke warm- not too hot but not too cold. I noticed that he kept getting fussier and fussier each bath so I decided to make the water warmer. This was the first time Jase enjoyed his bath! He was playing in the water splashing as he moved his legs and arms. I thought it was too warm for him but aparently he loved it! I was so happy and relieved watching him enjoy himself.

Both of us cuddling together to keep Jase warm from after his bath. Awww... aren't we cute! :) I love looking at Jase while he sleeps; he looks so peaceful and relaxed without any stress to bother him. I love it! Plus it's a guarantee that I can be stressfree too! He likes to keep me on my toes at times but I still love him the same.

Daddy Leaves Home Back for Deployment

It was definitely hard to say good bye and watch Mike's plane take off but I know we'll be strong as Mike goes to fight for our country; he'll be home in our arms soon before we know it. We love you Mike and we'll miss you like crazy! Be safe for us but also find ways to enjoy yourself and be happy. We'll be happy for you! I'll take care of Jase for you; I'll give him a kiss and hug each day for you :). Good luck my love and we wish the best for you! MMmmaaahhh! :)

Here's Mike holding Jase one last time before he flies out to Wisconsin and eventually Afghanistan. It was heart-breaking to watch Mike spend these precious moments with his son and know that he wouldn't be able to do this again until a year. But I am so thankful that Jase was born at the time that he was so Mike was able to even see his son before leaving overseas. I will never forget the way Mike looked at Jase these last 3 days and the love that was felt :). It'll be ok though cause we all get to be with each other for eternity no matter what happens! :)
